Gardens Ministry Work Day

The St. Francis of Assisi Gardens Ministry is looking for a few good men and women to help with the mowing and landscaping on the parish grounds. If you have 3 hours a month to give to this ministry, you can be part of the group of volunteers that keeps the grounds looking so beautiful. We need people to mow, people to trim and prune, people to weed and spread mulch, people to treat ant beds and people to cultivate and fertilize the plants. All the gardening tasks are done by parishioners who volunteer their time from early in the spring through the fall. You set you own schedule to do the work. Gardening equipment and supplies are available. We need your helping hands.
Work days for 2010 are: Feb 13, Mar 27, Apr 17 and May 15. Come to the property on these days from 9-noon to help with cleanup, pruning and trimming around the property.
